Our story
Hana Sato opened North Star in 2018 after eight years grooming at a high-volume chain that scheduled three dogs per groomer per hour. Here, it is one. Every appointment starts with a meet-and-sniff. The dryers are low-noise — half the decibels of a normal grooming dryer. There are no cages. There is no daylong waiting. Owners drop off at ten, pick up at noon, and find a dog who looks more like itself, not less.
